An Ode to Man’s Best Friend
What: An opportunity for us to celebrate man’s best friend. Community members can submit photographs of their dogs to be displayed in storefront windows on Main Street in Rock Hall. All dogs should have a connection to Rock Hall. Photos may be of dogs who are still with us, or dogs from the past. Prints should be unframed and at least 8″ x 10″ (bigger is better).
Where: Photographs can be dropped off at The Hickory Stick (21326 E. Sharp Street) in Rock Hall.
When: Deliver your photos to The Hickory Stick, Thursday through Monday from 10am to 5pm. All contributions must be dropped off to The Hickory Stick by Friday, March 12th.
Photographs will be displayed through the month of April. Due to the fact that photos may fade, curl, or otherwise be damaged when displayed, we recommend that you not submit originals of treasured pictures.
Participants are asked to complete a registration, which will ask for the following information, when dropping off their photos.
- Name of Dog, Age of Dog, Breed of Dog
- Name of person contributing the photo
- Please let us know if your dog has gone over “the rainbow bridge”
We will also ask for a release to be able to use the likeness of your photo for Main Street Rock Hall marketing and fundraising purposes.
